About Me

If asked who I am, the short answer is Michael Steighner is first off a proud father! In my creative world however, I am a lighting designer, photographer, traveler, story teller,  and digital image creator. With a background in lighting design and live events, I bring my 40 years of event illumination and production coordination experience to each and every project and frame.

And yes, this quite possibly is the silliest picture of myself that I could have found! My friend Frank says I look like a French boat captain or perhaps a lobster fisherman. Actually, might be a great character for a new story. Frank tells me that he is actually working that.
